It's My Park Day

It's My Park Day is a semi-annual event where people of all ages can join EYTE to help clean and repaint Nehmiah park. Nehemiah Park is a staple of the Brownsville community and is the park of choice for many of the kids in the area. We hope to instill in our young people the importance of taking care of their community and beautifying their own neighborhoods.

Putting Garbage Bag

Clean

  • Sweep up the litter and gather recyclable items.

  • Disinfect the playground equipment.

Park Cleanup

Organize

  • Organize the park program euipment bins

  • Recycle glass and plastic bottles and cans

Volunteers Cleaning Park

Beautify

  • Paint the park anew with a fresh coat of red and green paint

  • Rake fallen leaves and clear out weeds
